DOWNLOAD: Bassnectar – Freestyle Mixtape 1

While everyone’s going crazy reviewing Deadmau5′s latest, I can’t help but think back to the whole “push play” controversy after his Rolling Stone cover story, and how Bassnectar was in the same issue talking about how he recuts and samples on the fly to make his sets as dynamic as possible. Good guy Bassnectar, I thought. Well, now, he’s letting us enjoy some of the fruits of that process completely free with a mixtape with so rumbly and explosive, it may make you run to the bathroom. It features a ton of his remixes and recuts, and even some old Dead Prez. Don’t sleep on this – it may be the best free thing you get until Santa comes, assuming he doesn’t get you a lump of coal after listening to this filthy, filthy set. DOWNLOAD IT FREE.
