Listen: Zeds Dead & Omar Linx – The Living Dead EP 0

In case you don’t know, Zeds Dead’s the shit. Their hernia-inducing drops are notorious, and their hip-hop-influenced sound is perfect for raps and chants. That’s why their latest single with Omar Linx, “The Living Dead” is so goddamn sick, and why the hype has been so high for The Living Dead EP. Well, it’s finally out and features three more tracks with Omar Linx. “Cowboy” is a low-key piano and strings driven beat with some thoughtful rhymes from Linx, while “Take a Chance” is a cosmic, spiraling beat traveling along to the guidance of intergalactic chants. “Crank”, meanwhile, is a high-energy, hustle-hard speedball with blistering rhymes and a drop so heavy, it can’t get through the doorway. It gives my heart palpitations every time, followed by euphoria and visions of myself flying through the air, shooting eye lasers at bad guys. If you’re looking for that fuck-it-arrest-me level of dopeness, you can check out the EP here.
