Swedish House Mafia just announced via their website that the tour they’re about to embark on will be their last as a group. While the news is unexpected, and reasons probably won’t be shared for a while, Swedish House Mafia drawing the curtains with a graceful bow is a commendable move. SHM did big things for themselves and the EDM scene over the last few years, selling out Madison Square Garden in New York, winning two MTV Europe Music Awards, and producing tracks that went Platinum and double Platinum in countries around the world. It’s safe to say that Sebastian, Axwell, and Steve will do just fine for themselves considering they’ve each experienced considerable success with their solo work before and during SHM’s run.

Today we want to share with you, that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey.

We came, we raved, we loved.
